Landscape Maintenance Guidelines
Landscape Maintenance (or Grounds Maintenance) Guidelines contain performance standards, specific task requirements, and monthly frequency schedules, but not the legalese required in contracting. These guidelines are for use with in-house staff.

Training / Tutoring – Field Personnel
Landscape maintenance personnel typically lack formal horticultural training. In-house training and tutoring is available in both English and Spanish tailored to the specific needs and level of the personnel involved.

Training / Mentoring – Property Managers
Dendron provides a number of tool, training, and mentoring options suited to the specific needs of property management firms and their staffs to better deal with the issues involved in landscape maintenance and controlling water costs.

Horticultural Consultation
Dendron, and its highly qualified associates, provide a wide range of horticultural, irrigation, landscape, and pest management expertise, and are available to provide support to both in-house staff and maintenance contractor personnel.

Contract Administration / Inspections
Dendron may act as Contract Administrator to ensure contractor conformance with contract requirements or Inspector by periodically reviewing performance.

Acceptance Review
Review of the landscape prior to acceptance from the developer or review at the turnover of the out-going landscape maintenance contractor. This review objectively documents existing conditions at a given point.

Landscape Budgets
Detailed and realistic budget projections based on a professional horticultural review of the site to:

  • Ensure adequate funds to maintain landscape assets
  • Fund major renovations or other expenditures
  • Reduce spending, when necessary

Reserve Studies
Detailed landscape reserve studies required to meet long-term capital needs.

Mediator / Expert Witness
Act as objective third party, mediator, or expert witness, in disputes involving landscape installation or maintenance.
